PET TASKER, LLC – TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking transportation services with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read carefully before scheduling or submitting payment.

1. Booking & Payment

1.1 A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your transport date.
1.2 Full payment for services must be completed prior to pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.3 Transport is not guaranteed until payment is received and all required documentation is submitted.
1.4 Prices may vary depending on distance, route, weather, and service requirements.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

2.1 The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
2.2 Cancellations made within 72 hours of pickup may be subject to additional cancellation fees.
2.3 If Pet Tasker must cancel for reasons beyond our control (vehicle issues, weather, emergencies), we will reschedule at

      no additional cost.

3. Pet Age & Health Requirements

3.1 Pets must meet the minimum age requirement:

• Puppies/Kittens: 8 weeks old minimum

• Toy breeds must weigh at least 2 lbs

• Brachycephalic breeds may require special accommodations
  3.2 Pets must be in good physical health and free of visible illness at pickup.
  3.3 Pet Tasker reserves the right to refuse transport if the animal appears sick, severely stressed, aggressive, or unsafe for travel.

4. Vaccinations & Required Documentation

4.1 The following must be provided before transport:

• Veterinary Health Certificate (issued within 10 days)

• Vaccination record (DHPP for puppies; FVRCP for kittens)

• Photo of the pet for identification

• Breeder/Shelter release (if applicable)
  4.2 Vaccinations must be administered at least 72 hours prior to transport.
  4.3 Pet Tasker will not accept sedated pets.

5. Owner Responsibilities

5.1 The owner/breeder is responsible for:

• Providing accurate pet information

• Notifying Pet Tasker of health, behavioral, or special needs

• Supplying enough food for the entire trip

• Supplying medication with instructions

• Providing an appropriate travel crate when required
  5.2 Any failure to disclose behavioral or medical concerns may result in additional fees or refusal of service.

6. Safety & Transportation

6.1 Pet Tasker prioritizes the safety and well-being of every animal transported.
6.2 Travel may include stops for feeding, water, rest, and exercise depending on the pet’s age and needs.
6.3 Pets will be transported in climate-controlled, secure vehicles with appropriate restraints or crates.
6.4 No sedatives of any kind may be administered before or during transport.
6.5 Photos/videos may be sent to the owner as updates throughout the trip.

7. Emergencies & Veterinary Care

7.1 In the event of a medical emergency, Pet Tasker is authorized to:

• Seek veterinary care

• Follow veterinarian recommendations
  7.2 The owner is financially responsible for all veterinary costs incurred during transport.
  7.3 Pet Tasker is not liable for pre-existing conditions or complications that arise due to stress, travel, or illness not disclosed

            before pickup.

8. Weather, Delays & Unexpected Events

8.1 Severe weather, road closures, or emergencies may cause delays.
8.2 Pet Tasker may adjust pick-up or delivery times to ensure pet safety.
8.3 No refunds will be issued for weather-related delays.

9. Aggressive or High-Risk Pets

9.1 Pet Tasker reserves the right to refuse or terminate transport if a pet shows aggression, extreme stress, or behavior that endangers

     itself or the driver.
9.2 Owners will be contacted immediately if transport must be halted.

10. Liability

10.1 Pet Tasker is not responsible for:

• Undisclosed medical conditions

• Stress-related illness

• Injury resulting from owner-provided crates or gear

• Damage caused by pets during transport

10.2 Pet Tasker’s liability is limited to the cost of the transport service provided.
10.3 Owners assume full responsibility for their pet’s health and travel readiness.

10.4 Health-Related Risks & Mortality Disclaimer 
     Pet Tasker, LLC is not responsible or liable for illness, injury, complications, or death resulting from a pet’s age, frailty, breed-specific

     vulnerabilities, pre-existing medical conditions, congenital issues, immune-related concerns, or any health conditions—whether known, unknown,

     disclosed, or undisclosed—at the time of transport. Pets with existing or potential health issues may be at higher risk during travel, and owners

     assume full  responsibility for determining their pet’s fitness to safely undergo transport

11. Communication & Updates

11.1 Owners will receive updates at reasonable checkpoints during transport.
11.2 Drivers may not be able to respond while actively driving but will communicate as safely as possible.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the booking fee, submitting documentation, or scheduling a transport service with Pet Tasker, LLC, you acknowledge that you have read,

understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
